Information

Belmonte (meaning "the beautiful hill") is indeed a beautiful cozy city in central Portugal, near the highest mountain called "Serra da Estrela" (Star Mountain). It has a castle, and many special places of interest, which we are including in the program.

 

It's easily reachable by car from Porto or from Lisboa airports, heading to the A23 highway. There is also public transportation, trains and buses. For information on TRANSPORTATION, please check this link or the respective tab.

There are various types of possible accommodation. You may check the various search engines and also Airbnb. The closest you are to the Auditorium (see map of Belmonte, here posted), the better.
