Madeira islands in July

The Madeira airport is situated about 18Km from the centre of Funchal, the 'capital' city. There are "Aerobus" shuttles regularly (~7€ ticket, obtained from the bus driver), taxis or other online platforms (Uber, Bolt, etc.) that can bring you to Funchal.

You can find your accommodation through the online booking platforms (airbnb, booking.com, vrbo, tripadvisor, etc.) or directly book at the hotels of your preference. We have specific discounts with lodging providers, who have been supportive of our work. The Congress registration includes the coffee-breaks and the smart-lunches during the Sessions, and a welcoming cocktail-dinner in a spectacular setting, besides various special occasions spread over the Program.

 The participants, and friends, and companions, are free to choose where to have the evening meals (except on the 17th of July, date of the cocktail-dinner), thus able to experiment the diversified cuisine offered in Madeira.

If you plan to come by boat, notably sailing (in the core, from its creation, ANIMUSIC is a defender of Nature conservation, balanced ecosystems, and a non damaging ecological practice), Madeira has a very well protected Marina, which is being totally renovated, with all the facilities newly built. 

If you are staying longer than the Congress week, there are many nautical sports available.
